W.O.W (Workshops of Wealth), a pan-African platform dedicated to strengthening leadership, wealth creation and legacy across the continent, is set to host a two-day high-level convening in Sandton, Johannesburg. The event will spotlight the inaugural W.O.W Africa 50 Women Honours and a strategic continental dialogue focused on shared influence, economic development and collaborative leadership among African women.
Saturday, 7 March 2026 — W.O.W Africa 50 Women Honours
Ahead of International Women’s Day, W.O.W will host the W.O.W Africa 50 Women Honours at @sandtonhotel, celebrating 50 African women whose work is shaping industries, institutions and communities across the continent. The honourees represent diverse sectors including business, finance, health, mining, environmental advocacy, media, fashion, innovation and public leadership.
The recognition places emphasis on impact, longevity and contribution rather than visibility or popularity. Selected honourees will be profiled in W.O.W Business Magazine, a curated publication documenting their leadership journeys, philosophies and influence. The magazine serves as a long-term archive of African women who are building institutions and shaping enduring legacies.
Monday, 9 March 2026 — W.O.W Africa 100 Founding Members Breakfast Convening
Following the honors, W.O.W will hold the W.O.W Africa 100 Founding Members Breakfast Convening—an exclusive, closed-door session for women leaders, founders, investors, and senior professionals across Africa.
Designed as a strategic dialogue rather than a networking event, the convening will address:
• Shared influence over individual competition
• Cross-border collaboration among African women
• Wealth creation through ownership, access and partnerships
• Building African-led platforms, institutions and ecosystems
• Transitioning from recognition to collective economic power
The session reflects W.O.W’s founding principle: Africa progresses faster when women build together rather than in isolation.
Why W.O.W Africa?
Founded by South African entrepreneur and wealth strategist Lelo N, W.O.W Africa was created to fill a critical gap — the need for a platform that centers the economic voice, collaboration and long-term legacy of African women leaders. Lelo N, who is fluent in Kiswahili, embodies the organization’s commitment to cross-cultural exchange, accessibility, and pan-African engagement.

Together, the women’s and men’s platforms underscore W.O.W Africa’s belief that sustainable economic growth is built through partnership, not division.
